For decades, this plot has been well-known in the area as a duck hunter’s favorite.

* The hunting area is in the lowest part of the river bottom with depths between 12 and 18 inches in the flooded areas.

* Wells have been installed to maintain ideal water levels and the blinds are heated for maximum comfort in the late season. Two of the blinds will have open water wells year-round.

* Millet, corn, buck wheat and smart weed are planted liberally to ensure an abundant bird population.

* Comfortable hunters lodge includes a spacious lounge/common area, bar, pool table and full kitchen. Open bunk rooms accommodate up to 20 bunks, with private rooms also.
