Also with mezquite huizache (Acacia) and chaparral (small oak tree).

There are small mammals such as: squirrel, rabbit, coyote, hares or jack rabbits, raccoon and opossum.Larger mammals include Berber sheep, bobcat, wild turkey, collared peccary, as well as european boar, puma, mule and white tail deer, and in the mountains black bear.
