The Silver Ranch is located about 23 miles southwest of Rocksprings on the southern tip of the Edwards Plateau between the Nueces water shed and the West Prong water shed area. The ranch has scattered low rolling hills and limestone outcroppings. The west portion of the land breaks off to rolling hills that drain into the West Prong of the Nueces River basin. There is a good cover of live oak, some pinion pine, shin oak, Spanish oak, mountain laurel and cedar. The ranch is remote, quiet and peaceful and is surrounded by large ranches, including an adjoining 66,000 acre ranch.
