This is indeed waterfront
property off the Wheatland reservior that lies between Rock River and
Wheatland. The Medicine Bow National forest is a mere 5 miles north of
the property and it is from this point that alot of the elk, deer and
antelope traverse the property to the reservior to drink as the
reservior is the biggest watering source in the southeastern Wyoming
region. On any given day herds of between 10 to 40 antelope can be seen
on and around the property.
Also there are huge lake trout in the reservior I found the skull of
one on the shore and it measured close to about 9 to 10 inches long. I
am sure the DFG stocks other fish but not sure what kind they may be.

There are no restrictions or covenants to the land itself but there are
no power/gas/diesel boats allowed on the water as it is a drinking
source. There is a slightly smaller reservior (public) a couple of
miles to the east for the boaters.
